First of all, Duncan Ragsdale is not a man. This is one of many happy surprises people find out when first meeting her.
Cheerful and engaging, Duncan is not shy to tell a story. She would be happy to share her early inspirational adventures about the people who nurtured and supported her creative and visual talents while growing up in the badlands of Midtown Memphis, as the precocious and oldest sibling of three.
Duncan brings all the magic and angst of her Catholic school inspired childhood into her artist visions, while being encouraged by great teachers throughout her educational journey through the University of Memphis, MTSU and Watkins College of Arts.
Since leaving college Duncan has been privileged to work as an Art Director for many great films, commercials and music videos, while contributing her talents as a designer, artist and event planner to numerous homes, weddings and corporate events.
Duncan shares her creative passion and love of life daily with her producer-composer husband, Rob and their two furry children Dilsey and Annie.
